Goryokaku Train Tickets

Inbound trains reach Goryokaku at Goryokaku Station, just north of Hakodate Station. JR Hokkaido local trains arrive from Hakodate in around 5m, and services from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto reach Goryokaku in around 13m. Limited Express Hokuto trains from Sapporo arrive in roughly 3h40m to 4h, depending on the service. Trains from Onuma-Koen take about 25m, while services from Mori arrive in around 45m. Goryokaku is a rail junction in Hakodate, southern Hokkaido, where the JR Hokkaido Hakodate Main Line meets the South Hokkaido Railway Isaribi Line. The city area has two key intercity rail points: Goryokaku Station for junction services and Hakodate Station for the central terminal. Goryokaku is important because many trains between Hakodate, Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto, and the Sapporo corridor pass through or stop here. Services from Goryokaku include JR Hokkaido Limited Express Hokuto trains, JR local trains on the Hakodate Main Line, and South Hokkaido Railway trains toward the coastal Isaribi Line. Goryokaku does not have Shinkansen service; passengers use Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto for Hokkaido Shinkansen connections and transfer by JR train between the two stations. Rail routes from Goryokaku run south toward Hakodate, north toward Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto, Onuma-Koen, Mori, and Sapporo, and west along the Tsugaru Strait side through Kamiiso toward Kikonai.
