How do I cancel a ticket on Rail Monsters?

Here’s how to cancel a booking on Rail Monsters:

1. Go to https://railmonsters.com/my-tickets or My Tickets section in our mobile apps

2. Log in using your email or phone number (we’ll send you a one-time code)

3. Open the ticket you want to cancel , then click Modifications and Cancellations tab

4. Click “Cancel Ticket”

5. The system will display the supplier’s refund rules and calculate any applicable fees

6. If you accept, confirm the cancellation — we’ll begin the refund process automatically

Important: Cancellations close 24 hours before departure. After that, the ticket becomes non-refundable.

Will I see how much I’ll get refunded before confirming?

Yes — the system shows the exact refund amount before you commit to cancelling.

You’ll see:

• The total you paid

• The cancellation fee (if any)

• The final refund you’ll receive

• The expected processing time

You’ll need to check a box confirming you agree to the conditions before the cancellation goes through.

How long does the refund take after cancellation?

Once you cancel, the refund is processed automatically.

Refund timelines depend on your original payment method:

• Credit/debit card → 1–10 business days

• Apple Pay / Google Pay → 1–3 business days

• Some banks may take slightly longer depending on weekends and local holidays

We’ll send you a confirmation email as soon as the refund is issued from our side together with the ANR Number.

Can I cancel a ticket within 24 hours of departure?

No — cancellations are not possible within 24 hours of the train’s departure, regardless of the supplier or fare type.

This is a strict industry rule, and we are not allowed to override it. Once the 24-hour window begins, all sales are final and non-refundable.

We display this clearly during checkout, in the confirmation email, and inside your account.

What if I booked multiple tickets — can I cancel just one?

Yes — you can cancel tickets individually.

If your order contains several tickets (e.g. a round-trip or group booking for multiple legs), each one will appear separately in your account. You can:

• Cancel just one leg

• Keep the others unchanged

• See refund conditions per ticket

Our system will automatically calculate the correct refund based on what you cancel.
