Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian Province and a major rail hub on China's southeast coast. The city has two main passenger stations, Fuzhou Railway Station and Fuzhou South Railway Station, both served by China Railway. Its rail position links the coastal corridor between Zhejiang, Fujian, and Guangdong with inland routes toward Jiangxi and central China.
Trains from Fuzhou include high-speed G-series and D-series services, intercity C-series trains within Fujian, and selected conventional long-distance services. Fuzhou Railway Station handles many northbound, inland, and conventional routes, while Fuzhou South Railway Station is an important high-speed stop on the coastal line through Fujian.
Rail routes from Fuzhou run north toward Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing; south along the Fujian coast toward Putian, Quanzhou, Xiamen, and Shenzhen; and inland toward Nanping, Wuyishan, Nanchang, and other cities in Jiangxi. Book trains from and to Fuzhou online at Rail Monsters.
