Guilin is a major passenger rail hub in northern Guangxi, positioned between the high-speed corridors toward Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, and the Guangxi coast. The city has three principal passenger stations: Guilin Railway Station, Guilin North Railway Station, and Guilin West Railway Station. China Railway operates the city's long-distance high-speed, intercity, and conventional rail services.
Trains from Guilin include G-series and D-series high-speed services, regional intercity trains within Guangxi, and conventional services on selected longer routes. Guilin North handles many high-speed services across the national network, Guilin West is used by services on the Guiyang-Guangzhou high-speed line, and Guilin Railway Station remains useful for central city departures and some regional routes.
Rail routes from Guilin run south toward Nanning and Liuzhou, east and southeast toward Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and the Pearl River Delta, north toward Changsha and central China, and west toward Guiyang and Kunming connections. Book trains from and to Guilin online at Rail Monsters.
