Luoyang is an important rail hub in Henan Province, positioned between Zhengzhou and Xi'an on one of China's busiest east-west railway corridors. The city has two main passenger stations: Luoyang Longmen for high-speed rail and Luoyang Railway Station for conventional intercity and overnight trains. China Railway operates the main services for trains from Luoyang and trains to Luoyang.
High-speed G and D trains use Luoyang Longmen, linking the city with major national routes across central, northern, eastern, and western China. Conventional Z, T, and K trains use Luoyang Railway Station for longer-distance daytime and overnight services across the China Railway network. Luoyang does not have a direct airport rail link, so intercity rail passengers generally use Luoyang Longmen or Luoyang Railway Station as their main train station.
Rail routes from Luoyang run east toward Zhengzhou, Xuzhou, Nanjing, and Shanghai, west toward Xi'an and Lanzhou, north toward Beijing and Shijiazhuang, and south via connecting corridors toward Wuhan, Changsha, and Guangzhou. Book trains from and to Luoyang online at Rail Monsters.
