Shijiazhuang is one of northern China's major railway junctions, located on the Beijing-Guangzhou corridor and the east-west route between Shandong, Hebei, and Shanxi. The city has several passenger rail stations, with Shijiazhuang Railway Station acting as the primary hub. China Railway runs the intercity and long-distance services serving the city.
Trains from Shijiazhuang include G-series high-speed trains on north-south routes, D-series services on selected corridors, and conventional Z, T, and K trains for longer overnight or slower intercity travel. Shijiazhuang Railway Station handles most high-speed and conventional services, while Shijiazhuang North Station is used mainly for routes toward Taiyuan and other regional services.
Rail routes from Shijiazhuang run north toward Beijing and Baoding, south toward Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, and Guangzhou, west toward Taiyuan and Datong, and east toward Jinan, Qingdao, and the Shandong Peninsula. Zhengding Airport is also linked to the rail network via Zhengding Airport Railway Station. Book trains from and to Shijiazhuang online at Rail Monsters.
