Xuzhou is one of northern Jiangsu's most important rail junctions, positioned between the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed corridor and east-west routes across central China. The city has two main passenger stations: Xuzhou East for high-speed rail and Xuzhou Railway Station for conventional intercity and overnight services. China Railway operates the long-distance and regional trains serving Xuzhou.
High-speed G and D trains use Xuzhou East Station on the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway and the Xuzhou-Lanzhou high-speed corridor. Conventional Z, T, and K trains use Xuzhou Railway Station for longer-distance services on classic rail lines. Some regional high-speed services also link Xuzhou with cities across Jiangsu, Shandong, Anhui, and Henan.
Trains from Xuzhou run north toward Beijing, Tianjin, Jinan, and Qingdao, south toward Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, west toward Zhengzhou, Xi'an, and Lanzhou, and east toward Lianyungang and Yancheng. Xuzhou train tickets are useful for both high-speed rail and conventional rail connections. Book trains from and to Xuzhou online at Rail Monsters.
