The Etihad Rail network is a national standard-gauge railway across the United Arab Emirates, built to connect the country's western, central, and eastern regions. The corridor links industrial and logistics areas including Shah, Habshan, Ruwais, Ghuweifat, and ports, with extensions toward Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. The network uses modern signaling and heavy-haul infrastructure for freight, and passenger operations have been announced for the same national system. Key operating areas include the western desert freight corridor, the Abu Dhabi and Dubai urban approaches, and the east coast connection toward Fujairah. Station names and passenger service patterns are subject to official release.
