Inbound trains to Kurihara arrive mainly at Kurikoma-Kogen Station on the JR East Tohoku Shinkansen. Trains from Omiya take about 1h45m, and services from Sendai arrive in around 25m. Kurihara is a northern Miyagi rail city positioned on the Tohoku Shinkansen corridor between Sendai and Iwate Prefecture.
