Most itineraries involve a same-station transfer at Xuzhou East or Shangqiu and take about 4.5–5.5 hours, with limited stops such as Nanjing South and Xuzhou East. In comparison, D-series Hexie high-speed services run at 200–250 km/h (124–155 mph), make more intermediate stops, and typically extend the journey to around 6–7.5 hours depending on connections. Onboard amenities include power outlets, air-conditioned carriages, luggage racks, and trolley service; Business Class on G-trains adds wider recliners in a 1–2 layout.
