Running over 300–350 km/h (186–217 mph) sections via key hubs such as Hangzhou East, Shangrao, Nanchang West, and Ganzhou West, these trains complete the trip in about 7 hours 30 minutes to 8 hours with limited stops. Seating includes Second, First, and Business Class, with power outlets, tray tables, and food service available onboard. An alternative is the D-series high-speed train along the southeast coastal corridor via Ningbo, Wenzhou, Fuzhou, Xiamen North, and Chaoshan before reaching Shenzhen. These services operate at 200–250 km/h (124–155 mph) and typically take around 10 to 12 hours due to more intermediate stops. Several D-trains are scheduled overnight and some offer sleeper berths in addition to seats. Both are modern EMUs with air conditioning; choose G-series for the quickest daytime ride, or D-series for coastal stops or an overnight schedule.
