On the Shanghai to Yingshangbei route, G-series Fuxing high-speed trains and D-series CRH services operate with different speeds and stopping patterns. G-series Fuxing EMUs offer Second, First, and Business Class seating and run up to 350 km/h (217 mph) between Shanghai Hongqiao and Nanjing/Hefei, then continue on the Hefei–Fuyang intercity section at 250 km/h (155 mph). End-to-end travel is typically about 3–3.5 hours, with some direct services and many itineraries involving a change at Hefei South.
By comparison, D-series CRH trains (usually Second and First Class) run at 200–250 km/h (124–155 mph), make more intermediate stops such as Nanjing South and Hefei South, and generally take around 3.5–4.5 hours to reach Yingshangbei. Both train types provide reserved seating, air-conditioning, power outlets, luggage racks, and trolley service for snacks. For the shortest time, choose a G-series Fuxing; for broader stop coverage and often lower fares, a D-series CRH is the alternative.
