The SJ network covers major long-distance rail corridors in Sweden, centered on Stockholm Central, Gothenburg Central, and Malmo Central. The Western Main Line links Stockholm with Gothenburg via cities such as Skovde and Alingsas. The Southern Main Line connects Stockholm with Malmo through Norrkoping, Linkoping, Nassjo, and Lund. Northbound corridors connect Stockholm with Uppsala, Gavle, Sundsvall, Umea, and Lulea, while selected services continue toward Duved in Jamtland. SJ also operates cross-border passenger trains to Oslo and Copenhagen on selected departures. Train categories on the network include X2000, SJ 3000, InterCity, regional trains, and night trains.
