The quickest direct services, typically operated by Fuxing CR400AF/BF sets, reach 350 km/h (217 mph) on the Beijing–Shanghai HSR east of Xuzhou and 300 km/h (186 mph) on the Xuzhou–Zhengzhou and Zhengzhou–Xi’an sections. These runs usually take about 5 hours 40 minutes to 6 hours 20 minutes with limited stops such as Nanjing South, Xuzhou East, Zhengzhou East, and Luoyang Longmen. Other G services, often using Hexie CRH380A/B trainsets and making more intermediate stops, cover the route in roughly 6.5 to 7 hours at up to 300 km/h (186 mph) on the central and western segments. Onboard amenities on both Fuxing and Hexie sets include power outlets, tray tables, hot water dispensers, and trolley service, while Business Class provides wider recliners and a quieter cabin.
