These services reach 300–350 km/h (186–217 mph) on long stretches and typically complete the journey in about 6 to 7.5 hours, depending on stops. Primarily D-series high-speed services to Huizhou South (Huizhounan, 惠州南) follow the coastal corridor through Ningbo, Wenzhou, Fuzhou, and Xiamen on lines engineered for 200–250 km/h (124–155 mph). Because of lower line speeds and more intermediate stops, end-to-end travel is usually around 7.5 to 9.5 hours. If your final destination is the coastal districts east of Shenzhen, arrivals at Huizhou South can be more direct despite the longer total time.
