All high-speed G-series trains from Shanghai Hongqiao to Jixi North (Jixi County, Anhui) offer Second Class, First Class and Business Class seating with reserved seats. The fastest services are Fuxing G-trains (CR300/CR400 series) that run up to 300 km/h (186 mph) between Shanghai and Hangzhou, then up to 250 km/h (155 mph) on the Hangzhou–Jixi North section, completing the trip in about 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes with limited stops. In comparison, other G-trains operated by Hexie sets (CRH380A) or with additional calls at key stations such as Hangzhou East and Qiandaohu take around 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours; a small number of conventional Z/K services to the legacy Jixi station run at 120–160 km/h (75–99 mph) and need roughly 6–8 hours. Both G-series options include air-conditioned carriages, 2+2 First Class or 3+2 Second Class seating, power outlets and a trolley service, while selected Fuxing sets also offer premium Business Class recliners. Choose the limited-stop Fuxing for the shortest end-to-end time, or the stopping G-trains if you need access to intermediate stations along the Shanghai–Hangzhou–Huangshan corridor.
