With limited stops—typically major hubs such as Nanjing South and Xuzhou East—these trains cover the journey in about 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes. Cars feature modern interiors, power outlets, and 2+3 seating in Second Class, 2+2 in First, and 2+1 in Business. Harmony G trains (CRH380A/B) also serve this route at 300–310 km/h (186–193 mph). They usually make more intermediate calls, bringing total travel time to roughly 3 hours 10 minutes to 3 hours 40 minutes, while offering similar onboard amenities and classes. As an alternative, conventional K/T/Z trains on the classic line run between Shanghai Station and Qufu (city) at 120–160 km/h (75–99 mph) and take 7–10 hours, which is slower than the high-speed option.
