It depends on the route, the supplier, and how far in advance you're booking.
Here’s how it works:
▪️ If your travel date is within the next 28 days:
Your ticket will usually be issued instantly — more than 95% of tickets are delivered within a few seconds or minutes. You’ll receive it by email and see it under “My Account.”
▪️ If your travel date is more than 28 days away:
Some countries do not allow early ticket issuance. In that case, your order is confirmed now, but your ticket will be issued automatically 28 days before departure (or as soon as it becomes available). You don’t need to do anything — we monitor it and send it the moment it’s released.
We call this Advanced Reservation — and it’s common for countries like Japan, China (14 days), Austria, and others.
If your ticket is in this mode, your status will show as:
“Confirmed / Pending Ticket” — this is normal and means it’s queued for issuance. As well you will see in «My Account» the date when to expect your tickets.

💡 Important delivery notes:
- Japan: Ticket systems are paused between 23:30–05:30 local time every day. If you book during this window, your ticket will be delivered after 05:30.
- Korea: Some delays may occur due to system maintenance or demand spikes. Your ticket will still be delivered automatically once confirmed.
If a ticket can’t be issued for any reason, our team will contact you directly. If no alternative is accepted, we refund 100% — including the service fee.
Not necessarily. Each ticket is issued based on the rules of the country it's for.
For example:
• A ticket for Saudi Arabia might be issued instantly
• A ticket for Japan might only be issued 28 days before departure
• A ticket for France might be held until the system opens sales for that route
Even if you book them in the same order, they may arrive at different times — but you’ll get notified for each one, and all tickets will be stored under “My Account” and in the app.
Yes. As soon as your ticket is issued, you’ll receive:
• An email with the ticket attached (PDF or barcode, depending on the route)
• A push notification if you’re using the Rail Monsters app
• A status update in your account, changing from “Pending” to “Issued”
No need to refresh or rebook — the system tracks it for you and delivers the ticket automatically.
This means your booking is confirmed and your seat is secured — but the ticket itself is not yet issued.
It usually happens when:
• You book more than 28 days in advance
• The supplier hasn’t opened inventory for that date yet
• You booked during a system maintenance window (e.g. Japan at night)
No action is required — once the supplier allows issuance, the ticket will be sent automatically. If anything changes, we’ll contact you.
No — this is expected behavior for certain countries like Japan, where the supplier’s ticket system is temporarily paused at night (usually between 23:30 and 05:30 local time).
Here’s what happens:
• When you book during this time, your order is confirmed immediately.
• We place the ticket request in the supplier’s system.
• As soon as ticket issuance resumes (typically after 05:30), your ticket is issued and sent to you automatically — often within seconds.
The “within 12 hours” message is just a general notice. In most cases, your ticket will be delivered as soon as the supplier’s system reopens — so there’s no need to worry or rebook.
